Behaviour Interactive is facing the final stretch for Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade's development, so for the past few days we've been able to get more finalised details and impressions after a hands-on session in London and an interview we conducted during E3.

If you want to get all the info on how the game works and feels, head straight to our just-published hands-on preview.

Senior producer Nathan Richardsson describes the rather unique RTS/MMO proposal as "a lot of warfare, a lot of death, and a lot of not trying to die while killing the other ones".

In both the complete preview and the full video interview below you can learn how, in Ricardsson words, "all play into the campaign system", meaning that both PvP, PvE and factions stories add to the whole and its focused narrative, for "we don't reset the world, that's why we have the campaigns".

There's a persistent world and players can choose from Eldar, Orks, Chaos Space Marines and Marines factions, with a fifth Tyranids faction acting as the IA creep-like opponent (as in the PvE portion you have to eliminate the potential infestations on already-conquered PvP zones).

In terms of progression and objectives, and according to the producer, "you can contribute to the faction goals, and you can contribute to your personal goals".

Besides, we noticed the beta version on PC is pretty demanding, while the PS4 version we tried in London still looks rather green. Here's the reason behind all that, as Ricardsson explains:

"On Early Access we of course are not optimising our games and we're using the Unreal Engine 4, so you have to have a pretty powerful computer to be able to run it, but it also allows us to develop in a very fast pace. So yes: we're having fun, and we hope everybody else is having fun (it looks like it)".

Here you have full interview, new PvP and PvE gameplay and 8 new screens for Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade:
