After playing for Team Liquid since 2018, Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip has officially left the organisation and signed with Evil Geniuses, as part of an acquisition deal made by the esports teams.

Revealed over Twitter, Team Liquid talked about the release of Stewie2K, saying, "Jake - thank you for everything you brought to our organization and we wish you the best of luck in your future. Keep making NA proud."

Stewie2K joins a rebuilding Evil Geniuses team that currently consists of three members including himself. While the fourth and fifth member is yet to be announced (one slot is currently operated by the roster's coach, Damien "maLeK" Marcel), we can see that Stewie2K will be playing alongside Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov.

As for when we'll get to see this iteration of Evil Geniuses in action, the team is expected to appear in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups next week, so we'll probably hear more roster news soon.
