The London-based esports organisation Excel Esports has announced that it will be making a few roster changes heading into the League of Legends Championship Series Summer Split. The team will be dropping two of its players and looking to replace them ahead of the next season that will be beginning on June 11.

The statement from Excel's head coach Joey "Youngbuck" Steltenpool reads, "Ahead of the LEC Summer Split, we have decided to make two roster changes. We can confirm that Czekolad and Tore will be leaving Excel. We will always be grateful for the passion and skills they have both brought to the team, and we wish them both all the best for the future. Roster changes are never easy, however, we have to look at ways to improve our team's synergy and performance. We have done extensive tryouts during the off season and are confident we have a roster going forward that will help us achieve our Summer Split ambitions."

Excel hasn't revealed who will be filling the remaining slots on its LoL roster, but with the LEC Summer Split getting ever closer, we can likely assume to know more soon.
