FaZe Clan has now added former Overwatch pro Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty as the fifth and final member of its competitive Valorant roster.
The 26-year-old started playing Overwatch professionally in 2016 and previously played for Faze's Overwatch squad before making the switch to Valorant. He now joins Corey "corey" Nigra, Zachary "ZachaREEE" Lombardo, Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen, and Andrej "babybay" Francisty to round out FaZe Clan's Valorant squad.
The team will this week host the FaZe Clan Valorant Invitational - an event within the long-running Valorant Ignition Series.
"Valorant is a fun game that we'll most definitely hear more about within the esports scene."
Instalock will take place later this month.
This comes after neT left the team earlier this week.
The team defeated Gen.G to take the international tournament.
Five new players and a coach have been signed to the team.
Four teams remain in contention for the title.
