Square Enix has revealed today that three classic Final Fantasy tales will be launching over the next month. The first of the three will be the arrival of Final Fantasy IX on Switch, Xbox One and Windows 10 PC today. Originally released in 2000, the classic tale will feature iconic moments with Zidane, Vivi, Princess Garnet and others all with modern enhancements, including high definition movies, character models and auto-save functionality.

The second of the three releases will be Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy which will release on Switch and PS4 on March 20. This is a remake of the 2007 title Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon and will feature new dungeons, a new buddy system to recruit monsters and other characters as allies and a local co-op system to play with your friends. Mystery Dungeon is currently available for digital pre-order, and offers exclusive buddy's for anyone who does so.

Finally, on March 26, players will be able to return to the original Final Fantasy VII on Switch and Xbox One. The game, similar to FFIX will feature upgraded high-definition graphics, auto-save functionality, enemy encounter options and more.

As fantastic as it is to see these titles come back swinging, it does peak interest about whether we will be seeing any news about Final Fantasy XVI any time soon or the Final Fantasy VII Remake for that matter. It was previously reported that Square Enix had job posting for a game that could've been FFXVI but that was early 2017 and little information has come out since. Hopefully we will be seeing new information regarding FFXVI soon.

Will you be returning to any of these classics?
