Fire Emblem Warriors coming to Nintendo Switch late 2017

It was announced at the Switch reveal livestream during the night that Nintendo has once more teamed up with Koei Tecmo and Omega Force for a joint project. Last time around it was Hyrule Warriors, and now the time has come for Fire Emblem to get the Musou treatment. So far there are very few details, and the trailer below, well, let's just call it a teaser shall we.

We do suspect that we'll be seeing many of the characters seen in past Fire Emblem titles make an appearance and that we'll be hacking through hordes of enemies. It will be interesting to see whether any of the more stategic and tactical layers of the main series game will be maintained.

No release date was announced, but one has to assume that it is likely coming out late this year given the sparse details and Europe hasn't been getting Fire Emblem games early in the past...
