It seems Fire Emblem Warriors could very well get a sequel some day, as the game's creator, Yosuke Hayashi, would like to revisit the series in the future. Speaking with Nintendo Dream (via GoNintendo), the game's director expressed regret for all the series characters that didn't make it into the Omega Force developed game, stating he would love to amend for it on a sequel.
"If there's the opportunity, I would love to make Fire Emblem Warriors 2, but that's not something we're working on right now."
Fire Emblem Warriors was released on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS on last October, mixing the Fire Emblem universe with the 'Warriors' formula created by Omega Force.
