A new trailer titled ‘Nowhere to Run' has revealed Firefly as yet another new character added to the roster of villains in Batman: Arkham Origins.

The news isn't a huge surprise as rumours of Firefly's inclusion have been circulating since April, when reports suggested the character was available in the games multiplayer mode. Other villains confirmed include, Joker, Bane, Penguin, Mad Hatter, Black Mask, Killer Croc, Deadshot and Deathstroke.

One thing that's for certain is that Batman will have his hands full policing Gotham City while being hunted by a team of deadly assassins.

Batman: Arkham Origins is due in shops on 25 October for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Wii U, however the game won't be making an appearance on next-gen consoles according to reports that emerged earlier in the week.

REVIEW. Written by Rasmus Lund-Hansen

"Let's be clear: we like Arkham Origins. But in the twin shadows of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, it's hard not to view the game as a disappointment."
