First NHL 14 trailer

Plenty of NHL action, some gameplay.

EA Sports have released the first trailer from NHL 14 - the long running hockey franchise that saw the light of day on Mega Drive back in the day. This year's edition will land on September 10 in North America, probably September 13 (a Friday) over here. The trailer consists largely of live action NHL footage, but there is some NHL 14 gameplay thrown in there for good measure.

While the NHL series may struggle to move the needle when it releases in September each year in the UK, but in Finland it always finds itself on top of the annual sales charts. Ice hockey is a big deal over there, much like saunas and rally. One of our Finnish colleagues, Kimmo Pukkila, recently went hands-on with a preview code of NHL 14 in Stockholm.
