Playtonic announced today the very first update for the PC version of Yooka-Laylee, the Banjo-Kazooie inspired colourful platformer that released in April (you can read our review). The patch is called "The Yooka-Laylee Spit 'N' Polish Update" and it aims to fix and improve different aspects of the game.
One improvement coming with this update is the ability to use the camera more freely, one of the biggest complaints of the game on launch. The control system also seems more refined, the pause menu now has different music, we can now aim in first-person, and much more. To see the complete change-log, you can take a look here. At the moment, Playtonic has not announced the Switch launch date, so the owners of the Nintendo hybrid console have to be patient. If you haven't picked up the game yet, Yooka-Laylee is currently discounted on Steam at 25%.
