When Five Nights at Freddy's World was released last month, weeks ahead of schedule, it was met with many negative reviews and comments, with the general opinion on the game being that it was unfinished and buggy.

Developer Scott Cawthon then removed the game from Steam and refunded everyone who had bought it, promising to re-release it in a more completed state. Yesterday Cawthon re-released the game for free on the indie game website Gamejolt, the game apparently having "a remodelled overworld and many other new features."

And there are more updates to come, the page for the game states. Cawthon admitted to releasing the game too early in a steam forum post. He claims he was "too eager to show the things that were finished, and neglected to pay attention to the things that weren't."

FNAF World is an RPG spin-off of the original Five Nights at Freddy's horror games, and the game takes a much less sinister tone than the main series, with a much friendlier art style. It can now be picked up on Gamejolt.
