We already knew that the European League of Legends Championship Series would be franchising, following in the footsteps of the North American LCS, but now ESPN has reported on teams being accepted into the league, as told to them by alleged league sources.

These teams are G2 Esports, Fnatic, Misfits, Schalke 04 Esports, and Team Vitality, which doesn't come as too much of a surprise, since they're all successful regulars in the competition right now. Each of these will apparently have to pay 8 million euros for their spot over a multi-year period, then becoming entitled to 32.5% of the revenue pool.

The report also claims that Splyce and H2K Gaming had their franchise slots declined, which is a little more surprising as these are also teams that are regulars in the competition.

If the report is true, are you glad to see these teams in the EU LCS?
