We caught up with Team 17's Adam Findlay and found out more about Flockers, the studio's new IP, which went live on Steam Early Access this week.

During the interview we discussed the differences between Flockers and the studios other big IP, Worms: "It's been quite nice because where it differentiates in one place from Worms is there's no kind of destructible landscape, so that's kind of allowed our artists to build bespoke levels, rather than it be generated from a chunk of landscape."

Findlay continued: "We've still tried to stay true to our kind of artistic style with it. There's a lot of nods to Worms in there... but we tried to go down a darker, grittier path with it. You could say maybe inspiration from the Tim Burton visual style, so yeah, that's kind of what we went for."

Flockers launched on Early Access earlier this week. We've been trying to save sheep (instead of blowing them up for once) across the first few levels. You can read our impressions by heading this way.
