After signing Joonas 'Zappis' Alakurtti to their Overwatch team earlier this month, Overwatch League team Florida Mayhem has now announced that they have recruited two new players, these being Ha "Sayaplayer" Jung Woo and Kim "aWesomeGuy" Sung Hoon, as DPS and Tank players respectively, both of which have played for Korean team Meta Athena in the past.

"I'm really happy and excited to go to the Florida Mayhem. I can assure you that this challenge will raise my skills and my team will improve along with me. I'm thankful to have this opportunity and I promise to give my all," Sayaplayer said.

Head Coach Vytis 'Mineral' Lasaitis had this to say on the new players: "When we began exploring the market for talent, Sayaplayer was naturally at the top of our list, and I'm really happy to have him join Florida Mayhem. Despite being just 19, he provides everything an Overwatch League team could dream of: star power, extraordinary aim and a wealth of experience, having competed in Korea since the inception of the game. We were surprised and fortunate that he wasn't already in the league, as a player of his caliber naturally belongs under the brightest lights."

"We also add some serious depth in the front line with the addition of aWesomeGuy. A long-lasting member of LW Red, and most recently the main tank for Meta Athena, aWesomeGuy has always been known for his strong tank play. Having played alongside some of Overwatch League's biggest stars, he has been part of the Overwatch scene since the early days."
