The UK League of Legends Championship (UKLC) has just come to a close this past weekend, crowning Fnatic Rising as champion at Twickenham Stadium, taking down Excel UK in the process, winning the first two maps and the fourth to lift the trophy.
The Forge of Champions tournament has also been giving amateur teams a chance to get involved with the league too, and this is part of Riot and LVP's push into UK esports and developing the grassroots scene.
At the European Masters Summer Split on September 9 both Excel UK and Fnatic Rising will compete against many other European teams from 13 regions, with the final taking place in Vienna on September 29.
