Football Manager 2014 gets winter update

The latest update for Football Manager 2014 is in, and it brings with it all of the transfer dealings from the January transfer window. On top of that fans will also get an update to the game's match engine (and a number of other minor tweaks and improvements), and the Gibraltarian league just got added (via Steam Workshop). The update is automatic through Steam.

FM14 has been sitting pretty at the top of the UK PC games chart for 18 consecutive weeks now, the longest run for any game on the platform (the record was broken late last month). It's also worth noting that for today the game is being discounted, either via Steam, Game.co.uk, or via Google Play, Amazon App Store or iTunes. If you haven't picked it up yet and intend on doing so, now would be the time.
