Former Sony executive Adam Boyer announced earlier this month that he was leaving the PlayStation team. Boyer had served as VP of Third Party Relations, among other things, securing indie games and VR titles for the PS4.

As he left Sony, Boyer said that he wanted to get back into game development. Now we know where he's heading. Killer Instinct developer Iron Galaxy Studios has revealed that Boyer will be joining them as CEO in early August.

PlayStation fans will likely recognise Boyer from the video below, released during E3 2013, that poked fun at Microsoft's ill-fated plans for locking Xbox One games to a user's console and Xbox Live account.
