Epic Games has been teasing players all over the world with the closed beta version of Fortnite for iPhone/Android during the past few weeks, and here at Gamereactor we've been trying to get in on the action (without much luck). Now, as of yesterday in fact, Epic has announced that the game has been released in full and that it's free of charge and open for all. There's even going to be some cross-play functionality.
"In partnership with our friends at Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together."
