Microsoft just announced the dates for the open beta of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, the upcoming PC-based racer. Players will be able to try the game on Windows 10 PCs from May 5, at which point Turn 10 will invite feedback from players as they look to optimise the game.
According to the announcement on the Forza blog, the new Forza title will be single-player only, which comes as a surprise, although players "will be able to dive into a new career mode anchored by a 12-event 'Showcase Tour', where players will race thrilling cars on circuits from across the globe. In addition, Apex's new 'Spotlight Series' events will challenge players with unique automotive events that will be updated on a regular basis."
