Developer Motiga and Perfect World Entertainment launched the free-to-play MOBA slash hero shooter Gigantic on PC and Xbox One back on July 20th, 2017. The game is a third person online shooter, but now the game's days are literally numbered.

In a community post it was announced, that Gigantic's servers will be shut down on July 31, 2018. Because of this, all heroes will be free, because you can't buy Rubies and Hero Packs anymore. In-game currency is still rewarded for playing, and it is available to use as a means to buy items at discounted prices in the shop. More information on this and other things in the January update can be found on the official website.

The reason for shutting down Gigantic is rather simple, it didn't manage to reach a player base that could sustain it for the long haul.

Have you tried Gigantic? Will you be playing before it shuts down?
