Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was revealed at E3 a couple of months ago, coming from the Soulsborne-crew From Software, but after it was revealed that Activision was going to publish the game, some fans expressed concerns that they might push From Software to go against their design philosophy, and make the game easier to make it more palatable for the mainstream audience.
However, in an interview with Edge (via GamingBolt) From Software's Hidetaka Miyazaki said: "We're not consciously trying to make a game that's oriented towards a certain subset of users. We're making games for people that love games."
So, there you have it. Miyazaki has also stated in the past that the game is benefitting from the partnership with Activision, and that it's going to be even harder than Bloodborne and Dark Souls, so it seems like those who really want a challenge won't be disappointed by Sekiro.
