FTL creators Subset Games unveils Into The Breach

The creators of FTL: Faster Than Light, Subset Games, have just announced their new game. Into The Breach is a turn-based strategy title that involves aliens called the Vek crawling out of the ground, and these beasties being countered by player-controlled giant mechs from the future.

Subset are promising a randomly generate experience every time you start again, but there's no word on when it'll be done beyond "when it is finished."

A few other interesting details have already surfaced: FTL composer Ben Prunty is working on an original soundtrack, and PowerUp Audio are helping out with rest of the audio. Perhaps most interesting of all, though, is the fact that Chris Avellone (Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity) is on-board as a writer.
