After their recent signing of Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, G2 Esports has announced that one of the stables of its line-up, Audric "JaCkz" Jug will be removed from the active Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. The organisation announced the change in a press release, where they stated that even though JaCkz still remains under contract with them, they are allowing him to explore other options.

As part of the Twitter post detailing the signing, G2 Esports CS:GO Team Manager Jérôme "NiaK" Sudries said; "When NiKo arrived we made it clear that our goal was not to explore a six-man roster. We had six players with different profiles and qualities, so our goal was to determine which combination would work best on the field. It's all about balance and synergy, and even if we can anticipate certain things, the server is always the best judge. Our test focused on JaCkz and AmaNEk, and we quickly realised our system benefited more from François qualities."

"So it is with heavy heart that we decided to remove JaCkz from the active roster, and allow him to explore his options for 2021. Audric is a truly passionate and committed player who has proven to have qualities to perform at the highest level. I would like to thank him for his genuine and unfailing dedication over the past two years, and have no doubt that he will contribute to the success of his future team."
