G2 Esports sign Niko

Titled as "the biggest roster snatch in CS:GO history," G2 are looking to make some waves in the competitive CS:GO scene.

G2 Esports has officially announced the signing of Nikola "NiKo" Kovač to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. Revealed over Twitter in a video that saw G2 kidnap NiKo, the signing is loosely titled as "the biggest roster snatch in CS:GO history."

Last year, G2 signed both Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač and Nemanja "nexa" Isaković as they looked to bring their roster to the global stage. This addition of NiKo reunites the duo of huNter- and NiKo under the same banner, bringing together a pair who are actual cousins.

In an article about the signing on G2's website, the organisation stated; "With this signing, we're taking a new direction with our team. Over the course of the next few weeks, we'll be evaluating the team and its progress to determine the optimal line-up for each match."
