The unstoppable force that is G2 Esports continued to crush its opponents this weekend as it toppled Fnatic 3-0 to receive its fourth consecutive LEC win.
Before the match, Fnatic and G2 Esports were both joint with seven LoL titles, but with the win, G2 managed to inch ahead of its closest rival. G2 Esports now has eight LoL titles under its belt which cements its status as one of the best teams in the esport.
For the win, G2 Esports took home €80,000, and the team will now be heading to the World Championship on September 25 as the LEC's number one seed.
