Stardock Entertainment has revealed that the v3.7 update for Galactic Civilizations III has landed to celebrate the title's fourth anniversary, with this patch focusing on various improvements based on feedback from the strategy game's fans.

"After four years, we've come to know what fans want and don't want in a space 4X very well,"
said Brad Wardell, CEO of Stardock. "To thank them for their help and support, we decided to
tackle a lot of improvements that aren't particularly glorious but improve the overall experience
of the game."

These changes include improving the AI of the ships, as well as multiplayer and pathfinding performance, the empire management UI, and of course bug fixes, as with most updates. For the full changelog though, make sure to head on over to the forums.

If you have yet to get into the game though, you can get the Core Edition via Stardock, Steam, or GOG, with an 85% discount available for a limited time by purchasing directly through the game's site. This method also gives you a 70% discount off of the Gold Edition as well.
