GDC Europe is no more

GDC, a tournament held in California every March, has its own event in Europe every August as a minor, local event that is traditionally held in the days prior to the Gamescom. It's called GDC Europe and you might have not heard of it due to its limited scope, and apparently it won't be continuing in the future.

According to German industry sources (we're still waiting for official confirmation by organisers) the European version is over, and its resources will be shifted to the main event in California for a bigger and more focussed summit. Are you sad to see it go?
