At first glance, there seems to be something missing in Gear Club Unlimited, the "first car racing game" for Nintendo Switch (as they describe it at Eden Games, what with it being the first one with licensed cars in it).
What's missing is an online versus mode, or in fact, any kind of multiplayer allowing racing fans to compete with other players on the net, and not just through ghosts and leaderboards.
Meridiem Games, the company handling the distribution of physical copies in Spain, has confirmed that Eden Games will be adding a new online multiplayer mode in the future. This will be one of the many free DLC drops and updates planned for the game. Every four months we will see something new land; cars, game modes, tracks, and zones.
Gear Club Unlimited releases on December 1 on Nintendo Switch.
