Gears 4 and Forza Motorsport 6 in Games with Gold

Just after the Gears 5 tech test wrapped up, you can get 4 for free next month, alongside some other titles.

The Coalition hosted some tech tests for Gears 5 earlier this month, letting fans get a taste of the game early before its release on PC and Xbox One on October 11, but if you have yet to play Gears of War 4 then there's good news, as this will be free as part of August's Games with Gold offering for the entire month.

From August 16 to September 15 all Xbox Live Gold members can get Forza Motorsport 6 as well, although Xbox 360 fans also have stuff to enjoy, as Torchlight is free from August 1 to 15, with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow being free from August 16 to 31.

If you own an Xbox One X you'll also be pleased to hear that Gears of War 4 gets a technical boost with the hardware, making it look and run better, as you can see in the video below.
