Earlier this year, during E3, Microsoft's Phil Spencer confirmed that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct would both be heading to PC, with the platform holder wanting to make more effort in the PC space from here on in.
Killer Instinct was a launch title for Xbox One was back in 2013, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launched on console earlier this year, but there's been no word on when we might see both games appear on PC. That is, until now.
According to Xbox chief Phil Spencer, both games are heading to PC early next year. Answering a question over on Twitter, we've been told that while no dates are confirmed, the appearances of both games "won't be too far into 2016." There you have it.
