New stewards of the Gears of War, The Coalition, have confirmed a PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be released, offering 4K and Xbox One Elite controller support.
Studio reps appeared on the PC Gaming Show, the unofficial last conference of the E3, and gave a few details as to what to expect. The studio's redone over 300 art assets, and confirm there'll be 19 multiplayer maps and new modes for the game - it seems the developer took a look at what worked for Gears of War 3 and are adapting some elements from that game into the Ultimate Edition. Multiplayer is being co-handled with Splash Damage.
The studio also showcased a gameplay trailer, which we'll get on the site shortly.
