This weekend saw yet another Virtual Grand Prix, this time in digital Spain, and this weekend's race was won by none other than Williams ace George Russell, who finished above the likes of Charles Leclerc and Esteban Gutierrez to top the podium at the virtual Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

"I am feeling ecstatic, I'm not used to this winning thing - I've not done it for a long, long time. I've dearly missed it," Russell commented after the race. "When I got passed Charles and I knew I had that three-second penalty I was pretty furious but when that radio message came in at the end and I heard he had the three-second penalty I was almost wetting my pants."

To keep up with the tradition of having cameo appearances from non-racing sports stars, Man City striker Sergio Aguero was driving for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, and he managed to finish 14th.

"We didn't think F1 2019 could add much more, especially in such a short time frame, however, Codemasters has made pole position yet again."
