Gotham City Impostors glitch

Monolith are today investigating a glitch that is affecting their recent release; Gotham City Impostors. The six vs six FPS allows teams to shoot it out as part of a gang of vigilantes dressed up as superheroes.

The glitch is major one, with stats and paid-for XP boosts being wiped clean, sparking outrage amongst customers (at the time of writing there are 70 pages of complaints on the GCI forum board).

The post was spotted by somebody at Joystiq; the site also spotted this post on the forum and put two and two together. The later post suggests that this glitch could have something to do with upgrading the the demo to the full game, but no definitive answers have been provided yet.

If you're playing Gotham City Impostors, our advice is be very careful with your saved game and stats; check the forum regularly and hopefully they'll patch it very soon.
