Grand Theft Auto V reaches 70 million shipped games

Last time we reported about Grand Theft Auto V sales, it was May and the game had reached the unbelievable milestone of 65 million shipped games. But why stop there? During yesterdays quarterly report from Take-Two, it became clear that the game has continued to sell at a fast pace.

No less than 70 million copies have been shipped in what likely will be an unbeatable record for AAA games. This also means that after three years on the market, Grand Theft Auto V still almost sells one million each month. As a comparison, the previous game is considered to have sold just over 25 million.
