Assassin's Creed couldn't do it. Neither could Need for Speed. But after three weeks resting at the top of the UK multi-format sales chart, Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops has been knocked off by Sony's Gran Turismo 5.
It's good news for the long-in-development title, which received mixed reviews upon its release last week.
Unfortunately such a high-profile release will always have a knock-on effect for other titles released the same week. Sadly neither Disney's
Epic Mickey or Namco Bandai's Majin and the Forsaken Kingdommanaged to chart.
Here's the UKIE GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 10 in full:
1. Gran Turismo 5 (Sony)
2. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision)
