Grand Theft Auto Online is getting something big on December 12, as this marks the arrival of The Diamond Casino Heist, described by the press release as "the biggest, most audacious, most complex criminal operation ever to hit Los Santos".

Unusual security patrols have been seen in the casino, and penthouse owners are getting mysterious messages, with unfamiliar blueprints also being seen on Agatha Baker's desk. What could it all mean?

Well, it means you'll infiltrate the facility, which will require plenty of preparation as you look to breach the vault and get the loot from the Duggan family.

Rockstar is deploying a new approach to Heists with this, as it's one huge operation with various preparatory missions. There are multiple paths to choose from, changing security measures, and a lot of choices to be made, and outcomes change on the fly with each situation, prompting decisions mid-mission.

You can even make mistakes and adapt without having to shoot your way out, meaning it's highly replayable.

Heist crew leaders need to set up a commercial venture as a front, and while the business is running you can hack keypads, crack vault doors, and more, all of which will help you in your mission.

We're promised more details soon, but it already sounds like an ambitious venture for Rockstar.

Can you take on this challenge?
