The voice actor behind the GTA V's Michael De Santa, Ned Luke, has taken to Facebook to pour cold water on the hopes of eager fans wanting confirmation of upcoming story DLC for the game.

Luke has told fans that he has heard absolutely nothing about upcoming single-player DLC for Rockstar's masterful fifth game in the series.

"EVERYBODY wants single player DLC... I know NOTHING about that. Don't know when it's gonna happen or even IF it's gonna happen," he said on Facebook.

When it was suggested that he was merely towing the company line, Luke said: "Nobody telling me what I can and cannot say. I speak for myself. Period."

The rumour that Rockstar is hard at work on a single-player add-on for Grand Theft Auto V started when actor Shawn Fonteno (who played Franklin in the game) posted a picture on social media with him in a mo-cap suit (more on that here). This image sparked fresh hopes that something story-driven was in the works, although throughout this latest round of hopeful speculation, Rockstar has remained tight-lipped.
