Guacamelee 2 gets August release date in new trailer

The funny folks over at Drinkbox Studios chose to be very vague when they announced Guacamelee 2 last October by just saying that the game would "come soon-ish". This made us hope that we'd get it before spring was over, but that didn't happen. We won't have to wait much longer, however.

Today's trailer doesn't just show of some more gameplay from Juan Aguacate's new adventure, but also reveals that Guacamelee 2 will launch on PC and PlayStation 4 on August 21. PlayStation 4 owners can pre-order the game right now, and PlayStation Plus members can get it for twenty percent off, so it's definitely worth considering taking the plunge early.
