Guacamelee heading to PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Drinkbox Studios have announced Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition for PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The new edition will include the DLC released for the base game as well as two new areas, a new boss, new abilities and a new enemy class.

"It's always been our plan to bring Guacamelee! to additional platforms in order to share the game's unique world with as many gamers as possible; however, we wanted to go one step further and provide fans with new content and features." said Ryan MacLean, Co-Founder of DrinkBox Studios. "We feel that Super Turbo Championship Edition's new levels, enemies and abilities (did somebody say explosive eggs?) will provide armchair luchadores with the richest Guac experience ever."

Guacamelee is already available on PlayStation 3, PS Vita and PC, and it certainly delighted us when originally released last year. The Super Turbo Championship Edition is set to arrive in the second quarter. It's also notable that it will be one of the first Xbox One titles launched via the ID@Xbox initiative.
