Recently, the David Beckham-backed, London-based esports organisation Guild Esports unveiled that it has entered the competitive Apex Legends scene, further expanding the number of esports the team competes in. The new roster includes three players, with the trio already making their debut in the Apex Legends Global Series: 2021 Split 1 Pro League.

Guild's Apex roster consists of:

  • Matej "MaTaFe" Fekonja

  • Juho "Silta" Sillanpää

  • Younes "Horizxon" Elkherrat

"From the beginning, our goal has always been to bring together the best and most entertaining esports players to build an organisation that excites fans, attracts brands and provides teams with the opportunity to develop into champions," said Kal Hourd, chief executive at Guild Esports. "Our new Apex team incorporates this ambition entirely, allowing us to continue disrupting the industry with advancements into new tournaments and representing Europe as a true force in Apex Legends."

You can catch Guild in the ALGS later this week, when Week 2 of the competition continues. Be sure to join the action over here.
