Guitar Hero DLC to disappear come April

The Guitar Hero series - which includes DJ Hero and Band Hero - will have all its DLC songs currently available on digital marketplaces pulled at the start of April.

That's the word from the franchise's official Facebook page. The online servers will remain on, and any previously downloaded content will remain unaffected. The news comes as the DLC tracks have had 50% knocked off their pricing ahead of their disappearance.

"We want to thank all of you for supporting Guitar Hero over the last nine years," states the FB page.
