Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 releasing for Switch next week

Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 was released on PC a couple of months ago, and now the console launch is closing in, after the developers revealed a release date for the quirky sequel.

Well, the release is coming for one format. Crazy Monkey Studios is fast-tracking the Switch version of the game and that one is set to land on August 2. The studio will thereafter deliver PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions "in the coming months".

If you missed the first game, we can highly recommend it if you like the sound of a mafia-themed shooter with plenty of personality. The sequel takes place 15 years after the first, this time during WWII. That means we'll get to go visit Europe this time around and while we're there kill off undead Nazis and other weird enemies.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 offers the same local four-player co-op as the original, but this time you can play online with a friend as well. Below is the release trailer from the PC version.
