Three weeks prior to the actual Halloween we know and love, the spooky festivities have kicked off already on Overwatch, which means players will get new frightful content for the rest of the month. After all, nothing else really happens in October, so it's fair to reserve the whole month for scares.

As announced by Blizzard, the content consists of special seasonal items and of course the return of fan-favourite PvE event Junkenstein's Revenge, which now includes Brigitte and Tracer heroines. In terms of the items, as shown by both the trailer and screens below, there are six new legendary skins, returning spooky gear, and bonus loot boxes.

With the update a new patch has also arrived, tweaking things such as Torbjörn's balance to make him "more flexible", in Blizzard's own words.

Is Halloween your favourite time of year for Overwatch?
