Four classic video games have just been inducted into New York's Strong National Museum of Play's World Video Game Hall of Fame, and those are Street Fighter II, the classic arcade game Donkey Kong, Halo: Combat Evolved, and the Japanese Pokémon Red and Green.
What this means, however, is that other nominees didn't make the cut, those being Final Fantasy VII, Solitaire on Microsoft Windows, Mortal Kombat, Portal, Myst, Resident Evil, Wii Sports, and Tomb Raider. These four games do stand alongside previous inductees, however, such as The Sims, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Grand Theft Auto III.
