Heavenly Sword made no money

In an interview with CVG, developer Ninja Theory revealed that their Heavenly Sword only lost money. The game might have sold 1.5 million copies so far, but most of that number comes from when the game has been on sale or included in bundles. Not easy for an independant developer, in other words.

That's one of the reasons why the company is going multiplatform with their next game, Enslaved. "It's just that when so many people have Xbox - I mean over half the market or more has Xbox 360s - why limit yourself to one platform?", studio co-founder Tameem Antoniades said.
