Did your parents tell you to do your homework before you could spend any wonderful hours on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? If they had access to the statistics for how much money the biggest professional teams earn in the competitive CS:GO scene, that situation might not have gone in the same way.

If you still live at home, we can recommend that you show your parents Scope.gg's Twitter account, which as of late has been in the business of publishing the statistics on how much money each professional team made in CS:GO last year, and how that figure translated into value per each map played, value per each round played, and value per kill.

At the top of the list, we of course find Natus Vincere who won the Major in Stockholm and a plethora of other tournaments. The team raked in $4,275,000 (a CS:GO record), with its players totalling 18,124 kills, for a value of $236 per kill.

As well as Natus Vincere, there was also data shared for Team Vitality, Gambit Esports, Astralis, G2 Esports, Virtus.pro, Heroic, BIG Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Team Liquid. You can find all of the stats in the Twitter thread here.
