During QuakeCon we sat down with PR and marketing VP Pete Hines, and one of the conversations up for discussion was esports. Quake Champions (which you can read about here) has obvious esports pedigree, but it was another game that Hines earmarked as a potential competitive title for the company.
"I think [The Elder Scrolls] Legends has some potential, just as someone who plays it an awful lot, that it is a really fun, entertaining game to both play and watch," Hines explained. "We have some ideas about supporting competitions and tournaments and so forth, but you know we'll have to see where all of that goes."
During QuakeCon 2016 it was confirmed that the open beta for the CCG is now up and running. You can read our hands-on impressions of Legends by hitting this link.
