Some of you might have held on to the slightest of hope that Homefront: The Revolution would end up being a great game, despite its troubled development. Unfortunately, while it wasn't terrible it came with more than its fair share of issues. Deep Silver's game was riddled with bugs and technical problems at launch, and the developer promised to fix the problems. They've since released multiple patches, some of them improving the state of the game. Now they've announced an update that hopefully will make it significantly better, at least on Sony's platform.

The developer has revealed that they're working on an update that will include PlayStation 4 Pro support. This will apparently "have the dial turned up a little to see a boost to resolution and performance", while also implementing HDR enhancements.

We're also getting another trial version for consoles in the near future, so it'll be possible to see if they've gotten rid of the bugs and technical issues before buying.

Is a case of too little, too late, or would you consider giving it another go?
