Caustic Reality and Blowfish Studios have revealed that their psychological horror game Infliction is coming to PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in Q4 of this year, and we even have a new trailer and screenshots to get us ready for the scares later in 2019.

The game sees a happy home transformed into a nightmare, and you have to uncover disturbing events while also dealing with an entity that might not want you to find the answers. Artwork, objects, messages, and more tell the story of what went on in this house, and you have to hide the entity every time it shows up.

"Infliction explores fears that manifested after my wife and I started a family," said Clinton McCleary, Caustic Reality founder and Mission Designer at Blowfish Studios. "I set out to create a horror experience grounded in real-world problems that resonates with players and am looking forward to scaring everyone when we unleash it on consoles later this year."

When the game releases it'll cost £15.99 ($19.99 USD, $24.99 AUD, and €17.99) and features support for English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options.

Does this sound like a scary experience?
