COVID-19 has already caused countless activities, tournaments and events to be cancelled, including the biggest annual game show, E3. Not only that, but many games that are still under development are also being delayed because of the pandemic, the latest one of these being Cradle Games' Hellpoint.

The developer published a statement on Twitter recently, stating that "The release of Hellpoint is being postponed for reasons you are almost certainly aware of. The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting businesses worldwide, and, unfortunately, Cradle Games are feeling the strain as well."

Luckily, the game won't be delayed for too long. According to Cradle Games, Hellpoint is rescheduled to launch before the end of Q2 2020. The developer also assured fans by saying that they will use the extra time to "further polish the game, and also address the feedback we have gathered from players of The Thespian Feast, making improvements that we feel will make Hellpoint a better gaming experience for everybody."

In order to cheer up the fans who are disappointed about the delay, the developer released a new teaser. You can check said teaser right here:
